honey
2011 crop available now!
$6/375mL jar. We raise honeybees primarily for pollination in our garden and as a service to an unbelievably important species that is in serious trouble. A great by-product of this venture is their honey! Our honeybees come from hardy Russian stock which enables to them to thrive in our colder climate. They feed on (and pollinate) all the plants on our diversified farm so they're honey is a mix of clover, buckwheat, wildflower, raspberry, etc.
Honey is naturally anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal. Our honey is completely raw and unpasturized and contains
many minerals, enzymes, and antioxidants destroyed in the pasteurization process of commercial honey. It also naturally contains pollen grains that have been know to help reduce seasonal allergy symptoms when consumed on a regular basis. Unpasteurized honey naturally crystallizes after time but is still tasty and nutritious.
